Treks 'n Rapids (P) Ltd. chosen as India's No.1 Adventure Sports Company yet again!
In feb 2006 a market research was conducted by IIT Roorkee (internationally renowned institution for technical education & research) - Thomso on adventure sports and offbeat recreation in India. The sample size was 328, from across the country. It was found that 83.2% of the adventure sport lovers voted for Treks 'n Rapids (P) Ltd. as their favourite adventure sports company. A similar research conducted by IIT Roorkee - Thomso, in 2005 also certified Treks 'n Rapids (P) Ltd., as chosen India's Number One Adventure Sports Company, by adventure sport and offbeat holiday lovers from across the country.

Treks 'n Rapids becomes the first adventure sports company in India to be taken as a case study in marketing by leading B Schools.
International Management Institute, New Delhi - a premier B School chose Treks 'n Rapids (P) Ltd. as a case in marketing for a prestigious Case Study Competition during their annual event in March 2006.This is a 'first ever' for any adventure sports company in India and a matter of great pride for Treks 'n Rapids. According to the organising committee, this case generated very high interest and response from across the country, with over sixty entries coming from leading management institutes like FMS - Delhi, JBIMS - Mumbai, NMIMS - Mumbai, MICA - Ahmedabad, MDI - Gurgaon, IMT - Ghaziabad and others. A total of six teams were short listed and based on highly insightful presentations the team from MICA was chosen as first prize winner.

Treks 'n Rapids conceptualises, organises and executes nationwide Corporate Training Programmes for over 400 employees of Perfetti Van Melle India Pvt. Ltd.
In November and December 2005, Treks 'n Rapids organised highly effective and well appreciated Outdoor Management Development Programmes for over 400 employees of PVM India, at Whispering Pines - Dhanaulti, Yercaud (Tamil Nadu), Matheran (Maharashtra) and Darjeeling (West Bengal). At all the locations, training facilitation was done by the inhouse Experiential Learning Instructors from Treks 'n Rapids (P) Ltd.

Environment Sensitivity Programme for TCS team at Whispering Pines, Dhanaulti.
In July 2005, Treks 'n Rapids organised and conducted a highly meaningful Environment Sensitivity Programme (in association with TCS Maitree) for a team of about 50 highly charged employees of Tata Consultancy Services (NCR zone). The programme included, interactive sessions on Himalayan Ecology and Culture (focus of Garhwal Himalayas), Cleaning up the mess (plastic bags, toffee wrappers, et al) from the forest area (the best we could do), Visit to Tehri Dam & New Tehri,etc. The team also had a great face to face with the flora - fauna of the region while trekking up to Surkand (10,000 ft. a.s.l.) and during Rock Climbing at Thangdhar.
